Message the one you picked, directly. Your request isn't blasted to a list or sold as a lead — it goes to that pro and no one else. Sort out scope and price before any work starts. Messaging is free.
Pay in the app if you want the protection — your money is held until you confirm the job is done, and support steps in if it isn't. A 3% platform fee applies to in-app payments. Afterward, leave a review: only people who actually completed a booking can, which is why the ratings mean something.

Badges reflect a pro's standing on MyGuyPro — they are not a guarantee of licensing, insurance, or credentials. Any license or insurance details on a profile are provided by the pro. Confirm them directly before you hire.
Most hiring apps take your request and sell it to whoever paid for the lead. Then your phone rings five times. We built the opposite of that.
No anonymous listings. Every pro submits a profile for our team to review before it goes live, and what you see is the actual person you'd be hiring — not a call center that assigns you whoever's free.
A free account gets you the whole directory — profiles, reviews, and direct messaging, with no charge to reach out. You only pay a 3% platform fee if you choose to pay for the job through the app.
Every review comes from someone who actually booked that pro and confirmed the job was finished — one review per job, no exceptions. It's the same thing as asking around, except you don't have to already know anyone.
Pay through the app and the payment is held until you confirm the work is done. If something goes wrong, dispute resolution happens in the app — you're not chasing anyone down. Pros keep 100% of their quoted rate; the 3% fee is what funds this.
